Aubrey Lombardo provides counsel on labor, employment and various education matters to numerous school committees throughout the state. She handles issues that involve discipline, disabilities, and collective bargaining and litigation. She has extensive experience in Rhode Island Family Court regarding matters related to truancies and educational neglect.  She represents school committees on matters related to the Access to Public Records Act (APRA) and the Open Meetings Act (OMA).  She has represented clients before the Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board pursuant to unfair labor complaints and is experienced in both grievance and interest arbitration.

Prior to representing school departments, Aubrey served for four years as legal counsel for Laborers International Union of North America, Local Union 1033, one of the state’s largest labor unions. She also was an assistant city solicitor in the City of Cranston. She brings an understanding of all sides of complex disputes and collective bargaining and negotiations involving municipalities and education to her clients. 

Aubrey is a Board Member of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association. She is also a member of the Rhode Island Chapter of the Labor Employment Relations Association.
